202 Roster export error
I seem to be having the same issue as this thread http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...d.php?t=149640 I cant export and get a -202 roster error... ITs been this way for a little while (yes im up to date.. 2.0.2) in the only league that was an 07 league that i am in (Maelstrom) Now i just joined another league and.. same issue there. This would lead me to beleive that it might be my PC.. but i uninstalled and re-installed the game twice... Same problem.. Any ideas? I love this game but dont know how much longer i can do this.. Also.. In the last week i moved from FL to NC and switched service providers... I had the issue in FL and still have it in NC... so its not MY service provider (was Cox now Roadrunner) Any ideas? Help? Thanks Nick

You can't export automatically through the game, yes? Can you do a manual export and email it in to the commish without incident?

Yes I can do a manual upload (export and attach to email) but i am hoping for an "in game" remedy as i know me.... i would be too lazy to do it the other (manual) way

Okay, so it's not a problem with the files that are being generated.
Again, when exactly do you get the error? What exactly have you just done before it occurs and what exactly do you see right before it occurs? |

To simplify the issue I downloaded the latest file from Maelstrom (one of the 2 leagues im in, both having the same issue)... After downloading the files from within the game the VERY FIRST thing i will do... is try to export.... and the error happens... I have also tried to make changes and export... and it happens... So there doesnt seem to be a "certain" time.. it seems to be every time. It starts to export... gets to 50% and hangs and hangs... then i get a.... ERROR! Could not upload file, Error -202: Upload Error I am using 2.0.2.53 (as is the commish) the funny thing is.. I use to be able to export when the game first came out.. but now i cant... and yes i have tried to uninstall and re install. I just had a 2nd league move to 07 and its happening there also. The link above is a case where a guy had a similar issue and the commish switched servers and it made it better... I obviously cant ask that of 2 leauges and to be honest im shocked that they would call it a "closed issue" based on that. THank you for trying to help me Nutlaw

In the link given above, the issue did appear to be the commish's server. We don't have any control over connectivity issues.
Do you have any firewalls active on your computer? They may be preventing OOTP from exporting. |

the problem
The problem is.. this is now happening in 2 leagues... So what are the odds that its THERE server twice? Not very likely. The firewall issue... There might be... I guess i will check into that.. But if that isnt the issue, then what? im stuck?

I have the same problem, different league. Some teams have this problem, others don't.

Its sad, ive faithfully bought this game with every new version (even the crappy 2006)... all the way since OOTP4. You would think the tech support could be a little better

I'm trying to help you troubleshoot your issue, allstar500.
Could you please look into your firewall? Perhaps try disabling it and then export? |

Nutlaw, please dont take offense, you have been great. I am just feeling some general frustration as i like the game and just wish i didnt have this issue. I turned the firewall off and still no luck

I think the support has been great, there are just some issues.

Oddly, "allstar500" as we call him did have one successful export. But once he made a change to his minor leagues and re-exported...same error again. This is for our league and I've been trying to solve this problem for him to no avail.
