trouble installing the patch

Hi,

I'm trying to install the latest patch but I keep getting this error message: "Error creating update file C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\OOTP Baseball 2007\ootp2007.exe"

I do not have OOTP running at all; yet I still get this error. Please help.

That's a new one. Maybe try re-downloading the patch install file? Let us know how it goes.

I tried running the patch install but it didn't work. I wound up downloading the full install file, uninstalling my old version and installing the newest version from scratch. That worked.
