McAfee Antivirus causes OOTP to Not Respond

Greetings all, my first post is a word of caution. Don't lose 48 hours of gameplay like i did! This is my first version of OOTP and I am running it on a pretty hefty Vista rig (i can run Crysis on medium/high

, which trust me is an accomplishment). Anyway i set up a trial league and went to finish the day and low and behold nothing happened. I opened up the control panel and sure enough OOTP was not responding. It took about 2 minutes to recover and at this point i'm thinking "game killer". I will spare the gory details but I tried everything and could not get it working smoothly. Finally i did what I should have done in the first place, i shut down mcafee and the game runs beautifully.

Time to download AVAST and catch up on some baseball.
