PC -> Mac License

I purchased OOTP 9 for my PC several months back and enjoyed it until my PC crapped out. Prior to fully crapping out, I was able to un-license it from the PC version so that I could re-license when I got a new computer. I recently just got a new Mac (no longer have a PC) but my old license doesn't seem to work. Is there a different kind of license required? I'd like to not have to buy the game again in order to use it - can the license somehow be converted? Thanks.

To my knowledge, it cannot. In later versions, licenses will transfer between operating systems, but they do not in OOTP 9 because two different licensing companies are involved. Apologies.
