Rating Tommy Burns
While reading the Tommy Burns bio it says that when in shape he was hard to land on. I decided to bump up his defense from a -2 to a -3. This is where it gets odd. I could'nt find any other hw with a -3 defense. I could only find one lightheavweight with a -3 defense. Its the same for mw. Why is a -3 defense even rarer than a -6? I am trying to learn to tweak fighters and any thoughts would be helpful.

Originally when Title Bout first came out the defence numbers used had jumps of two's such as 0, -2.-4,-6 or+2,+4,+6, A lot of us guys asked could this be altered to the jumps of the present system we now have. Of course you will still find a lot of the fighter's using the original jumps of two and not one's.
By the way Tommy Burns was a great little P4P fighter very underated by many who have not really looked in depth at his whole career and not just his loss in the Jack Johnson fight. |
