Importing Leagues/Teams
I have a league that is in 2019. I would like to be able to create another league in 2009 and import the teams & leagues & players from 2019 into it? In essence, I want to do the OPPOSITE of a historical league.
As I understand it, a MASTER.csv file would not exist for this sort of thing, and there doesn't seem to be an option for importing leagues or teams that I have found. Is there ANYTHING at all I can do to pull this off? Any ideas would be helpful. |

The best way to do this is to "Save this World as Template"
Found at Game=>Game Setup=>Templates option button(bottom right hand corner). This will create a template which, when you create a new custom game, will enable you to use the template (and create which year you start in).Same can be done with jerseys and ballcaps. Some things I found when testing this.... If you require the same logos then copy them from your old lg file into (on PC, default install) My Documents=>Out of the Park developments=>OOTP Baseball 10=>logos I would do this before you make the template. This will pick up the logos whenever you create a game from that template. (because the same teams are involved) It will create some of the same players on the same teams (not sure why it doesn't create all of them...may have to do with when I created the template....maybe....or even the year I created the templated league in....) If it does use the same players I have found that they are the same Nationality, position, age (birth day and month is same, year is adjusted to account for new league year). Give it a try and see if it's what you were after

This is something that isn't supported yet in the program, so if the workaround listed doesn't work then it's not something that can be done.
I'm going to close this thread for housekeeping purposes.
