Free Agent problems!

I have a Fictional League with 4 human managers. As far as I can tell, the settings on the Manager Options page are identical for each of them. However, when I advance days, offers are automatically made to Free Agents for one team and not for any of the others.

Any ideas about what I can do to eliminate these automatic offers?

Go to the team home page and there is a tab that says Options and Ballpark. Go there and make sure you have the prevent any AI roster changes box checked.

I saw your other thread, and I thought maybe one of the guys who plays in "God mode" would answer. I assume that is what you are doing, at least for those 4 teams. I've never done anything like that, but it occurs to me to ask if you are absolutely certain the game knows you are controlling all of the teams. If you are just simming from day to day, you may not be getting a clear indicator of that. I'm just fishing, but it's probably the first thing I would investigate. Make sure you aren't commissioner, and see if you can do all of the usual things with each of the teams.

When we're talking about identical settings, check specifically the Transactions line (Signing, Releasing Players, etc.) for the team making the offers. This is under the Team Control settings. Make sure that is designated your responsibility and not the manager.
