Zone rating +/- runs: How to interpret?

I know about the zone rating and how it is based on the % a fielder fields balls hit into his zones.

If a fielder has +2.0 runs, what does that mean? How would you convert that into how many wins a fielder saved or cost your team?

Thanks

One WAR is 10 runs. So a fielder with +2.0 runs is worth +0.2 WAR. VORP is also measured in runs so you can add VORP to the ZR and get a rough estimate of WAR. Feel free to apply your own positional adjustments, but the guys at Fan Graphs use the following per 162 defensive games:
  • Catcher: +12.5 runs
  • First Base: -12.5 runs
  • Second Base: +2.5 runs
  • Third Base: +2.5 runs
  • Shortstop: +7.5 runs
  • Left Field: -7.5 runs
  • Center Field: +2.5 runs
  • Right Field: -7.5 runs
  • Designated Hitter: -17.5 runs
