If a fielder has +2.0 runs, what does that mean? How would you convert that into how many wins a fielder saved or cost your team?
Thanks

One WAR is 10 runs. So a fielder with +2.0 runs is worth +0.2 WAR. VORP is also measured in runs so you can add VORP to the ZR and get a rough estimate of WAR. Feel free to apply your own positional adjustments, but the guys at Fan Graphs use the following per 162 defensive games:
- Catcher: +12.5 runs
- First Base: -12.5 runs
- Second Base: +2.5 runs
- Third Base: +2.5 runs
- Shortstop: +7.5 runs
- Left Field: -7.5 runs
- Center Field: +2.5 runs
- Right Field: -7.5 runs
- Designated Hitter: -17.5 runs
