"Eligible From" field for draft editable?
So in my league, I import historical rookies from all different times to populate my amateur draft. It seems though, no matter if they are 18 or 26, they are always coming from high school, never college. Is this field editable in any way? I don't see it in the player editor.

I've never tried importing, so I'm afraid I don't have an answer, but I can think of a couple of things that might possibly be useful.
Looking at your example, I assume that must be *the* Jackie Robinson - despite the facegen. You might look up Jackie Robinson's real life history -- perhaps he never went to college in real life, so no matter how old he is when he shows up in your league, he never played college ball, making high school his last known "eligible from" possibility. This could go for people of any age. They might be working instead of pursuing higher education, keeping their skills sharp in semi-pro leagues that don't show up in the "eligible from" field. Although it would be really cool to see that: "Eligible from: Semi-Pro League". But if none of them are showing up as college players, then it sounds like something's off. Do you get fictional draftees who are said to be eligible from college? If you haven't done so, you might check your league rules about player creation and see if there's something in there. If not, you can always submit a support ticket, if you think this is a bug. |

From Baseball Reference.com:
"Jack Roosevelt Robinson Positions: Second Baseman, Third Baseman and First Baseman Bats: Right, Throws: Right Height: 5' 11", Weight: 195 lb. Born: January 31, 1919 in Cairo, GA High School: Muir Technical (Pasadena, CA) School: University of California, Los Angeles Signed as a Free Agent with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1945." I'm pretty certain that he graduated from UCLA, not just attended. |

Fictional draftees(which I avoid but have tested in this league) can come from college. I think it's a bug and am going to submit a ticket. I just wish this was an editable field in the player editor. Makes no sense, especially with the emphasis of the high school / college in the newest version, for it not to be. |

Heh. I should've known Baseball Reference.com would have it -- for some reason I assumed it would take some digging online to find out high school and college information about a player from 60 years ago. Now I'm just half-surprised they don't have his major and GPA.

Just got a response from my ticket. It seems Markus has fixed this for the upcoming patch.
