Cannot Load Cap Logos

So I started a historical league, starting in 1975. I have manually went through and loaded all the correct logos and uniform files for teams without a problem. However, when trying to load in the cap logos, it will not take it and is keeping the cap it already had loaded in. Anyone know what I might be able to do to fix this?

Probably something you have already done, but are they named in correct format and copied into the ballcaps folder?

Well they are in that folder but I am trying to load them manually, through each team's editor page, as I want to use certain years and change them as they would update through history. As I understand, the game doesn't do this, just names and colors in the file name are recognized.
