Is this possible...no bartering with players.

I'd like to setup this years 2010 playoffs.

I went in and released all the players thinking that then I could just pick the players and put them on the team rosters with no hassle. Been awhile since I did a lot of roster changes when V11 first came out.

But, of course, when I went to put Lee on the Texas roster I had to offer money. I offered a good deal but he wouldn't even talk with me.

Is there anyway at all to free all the players and bypass all the bartering etc so you can just put them on their teams and go from there?

I don't think there is but I'm hoping there is an angle somewhere so it doesn't take a ton of time to setup the playoff teams.

Thanks for your time.

Put yourself in Commish mode.

Open player editor.

Assign him to the team of your choice with the contract of your choice.

It's on the left hand side about half way down.

Thank you. Don't have time to get into that now but I will later tonight while watching some of the Yankees game.

I was in the commish mode but didn't know about these angles. Had no idea about this. You wouldn't believe the time it took me to make adjustments when the game first came out. Or maybe you would. : )

Anyway...much appreciated. Hopefully I can do it right.

Again...I really appreciated your tip, Bluenoser.

Worked like a charm. Put in the Rangers and Yankees rosters and played a game while watching the Phils/Giants. Disappointed in a really close game to have two deep fly balls to center with Jeter (a 7) on second and no allowance to try and advance to 3rd. Drat.

Wish I would have known this tip before the thread because it would have saved me well over an hour of work. Oh well. No harm done.

Have a splendid weekend...and thanks again.
