Seeing as how this is going to be a revamping of the old sim, how about being able to set up your universe by era? The Gaslight Nineties (Jackson, Corbett, Fitzsimons), The Dawn of the 20th Century (Jeffries and Burns), World War 1(Langford, Jeannette, McVea and that other guy), the Roaring Twenties(Dempsey, Wills, Firpo), The Great Depression (Schmeling, Gains, Carnera), World War 2 (Joe Louis), The Cold War Era (Charles, Walcott and Marciano), etc. You'd have graphic differences between eras and sounds too, brief clips of introductory music, the clip-clop of horses for the '90s, the rumble of steam engies for the turn of the century, Ragtime tunes for the Teens and Jazz for the 20s. A bit of "Brother, Can You Spare a Dime?" for the Dirty Thirties.

Just some crazy ideas to kick around amongst youse Dream Team guys!

If a new version of TBCB is ever put out there are a couple of things I'd like to see done. Skin Color should either be eliminated or renamed to Ehnicity and a fighter's ethnic background (its use optional of course) should not be restricted to the current choices. There was a time that being Italian, Irish or Jewish was important to the fans. And if a fighter is an Albanian-Mongolian mix, you should be able to type that into the appropriate space.
I would also like to be able to "unglom" a fighter's file. In other words, if I don't like the fact that Evander Holyfield's file contain his stats both as a Heavyweight and as a Cruiserweight instead of being seperate files (so his name appears in both weight division folders rather than one of them being hidden) I should be able to do so.
Also, more national flags such as Yugoslavia, Kosovo, Soviet Union, East Germany, Imperial Austria-Hungary, Imperial Germany and Imperial Russia.

The Dream Team is going to have to be given some idea of the limitations of the new sim before they can design the next great boxing sim for the 21st century.

One key thing that most agree on is the need for injury tracking and a sort of Out-of-Action list. Another would be behind the scenes control of certain activity by the game's AI. There are likely some ideas from OOTP that could be incorporated in Title Bout Three (TBT) as well. Maybe Face-Gen?

If some kind of face gen is to be included then ethnic identification is needed even more than just as an informational curiosity.
