1985 Cardinals

I am trying to start a league in 1985 and I want to restart it with player history and time of service reset.

I am a big Gwynn fan and since his passing yesterday I wanted to see how he would do with my Cardinals.

I think the closest to Gwynn ever leaving the Padres was in the mid-1990s after the "fire sale" that took place in San Diego when he became a free agent. He almost signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers which would have been a homecoming since he grew up in LA, but he decided to stay in San Diego. God bless Tony Gwynn.
