real transaction question. . .
I remember reading a post from Markus stating that when using real transactions you are supposed to select "unlimited rosters" in the league setup. I have noticed that by doing this every team has their complete roster available for day to day games. Which means teams ave around 45 players to utilize in-game. My team is the 1959 Cardinals and I have 45 players on my active roster which means I have 36 subs for every game. This doesn't seem right. I thought the point of real historic rosters was to limit the teams to the actual real life day to day 25 man rosters. Am I missing something?

When using real lineups you need to have it set as unlimited but when using real transactions you can do the normal size without issue.
The lineup reason is because the computer AI needs access to the entire roster because they won't make roster adjustments for injuries etc. and can't determine previous to that day's games who was in the lineup.

I've been playing with a historical league with real transactions on, and it's amazing. This is something I've wanted in OOTP forever. I realize that for many players, OOTP 12 might not have a ton of new stuff, but the historical transactions and lineups makes this an insanely awesome product for the historical gamer.
