Impossible to join online league?

So here's my question... I've been trying to join an online league since the game released to no avail, what exactly is a good way to find a league to join? I've only ever played OOTP offline, and it seems like online would be great, but it's next to impossible to find a league.

There are many great leagues out there, the problem you are facing is that OOTP12 just came out last week. So the vast majority of leagues have not upgraded to ootp12 just yet. I think there are several which are waiting for a few bugs to be resolved before they do upgrade.

There are a couple of ootp12 leagues that are posted in this forum which are starting up brand new that you can check out. A few mentioned having some spots left if you're looking to jump in right away. I bet if you give it a month or two there will be plenty of other leagues available though to look to join.

Just curious. You said you have been trying to join an online league but to no avail. In what manner have you tried to join a league?
