FaceGen

Hi I bought OOTP 13 but have not downloaded yet bc my windows crashed. Can someone explain what Facegen is? Is it an add-on? Is it fairly easily to use?

It's built in. It makes faces for players, coaches, scouts, managers and owners. It's dead simple to use.

According to OOTP itself, OOTP MLB play (modern and historical) outnumbers OOTP fictional play three to one.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

This is all true, plus it adds an incredible amount to the game. Once you see it you'll never go back to a pre-FaceGen version.

But don't take our word for it. When FaceGen was first introduced (by a forum member) Markus had just one word to describe it - 'Wow!'

Thanks Guys

How does it work? Do you upload a picture into it? I seen some pretty awesome facegen's just wondering how it works...

do you just choose from a series of facial expressions in order to form a face?

If you're trying to play a current day MLB league, all you need to do is go into the add on central in the game and download the MLB 2012 All in one. It'll have facegens for all of the major leaguers and plenty of the minor leaguers as well. If you're looking for historical, there is also a pack of historical facegens in the add on central. For fictional, the facegen is automatically made for all of the players. If you want to make a facegen yourself (maybe of yourself or something) you have to download the facegen modeller (free) and use a picture of yourself not smiling. Just follow the steps in the program and you'll have an easy time with it.
