Why Paramount Baseball?
The PBL has been one of the best league's around, since its inception back in April of 2010. The league features a wealth of knowledgeable GMs, fully operational utility suite and a commissioner that doesn't know the meaning of the word "quit" (not me). The PBL forums are a great place to hang out and are just now closing in on 30,000 posts. If you're looking for a league to keep around for the long-term... look no further.

Colorado Rockies (81-81) 3rd NL West
GM Challenge: Moderate
The Rockies operate in the heavily competitive NL West, and are coming off a .500 season. The PBL is deeply saddened by the loss of the previous GM, an original PBL GM and forum hero, so any newcomer will have big shoes to fill. The Rockies are a team that has been well optimized in the past, and as a result may be a challenge for newbie GMs. However, OOTPs will recognize the talent on the roster, and could very well guide the Rocksquad back to the playoffs in 2018.

Nippon League Teams (League Home)
MLB Modern rosters not for you? Well that's no problem at all. The PBL Universe has recently expanded, and just wrapped up the inaugural season of the Nippon Paramount Baseball League (NPBL). The NPBL is a fictional league based on the real-life NBL, featuring a full-fledged amateur draft and one minor league. The NPBL is a great opportunity for GMs who prefer fictional rosters to become part of the PBL community.
