Need League Logo

Needing a league logo for a new project

My league will be called NABBP, which stands for the first league in real history - National Association of Base Ball Players

I'd like the logo to be something black and white. Maybe with a touch of color in it if it looks ok....But along the same lines as this -

I don't need wings and all that...but something with the "rustic" feel. It's going to be a random debut historical recalc league with LOTS of Negro League players in it and I want to make sure old time baseball is represented.

Last bump try. Can anyone help me out? Or point to a good website or book for learning Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator? I have both now and I am going to try and learn how to do these things so I don't have to both folks all the time for logos.

Thanks in advance if you can provide me something. Just hoping to get a logo and maybe a banner to kick off my season soon.

Adobe's website has great tutorials for starting out and also youtube is a fantastic tool.
