Ugh, 19th Century Hates Me!
Four times now, I've simmed through 2-3 seasons and had no issues...once starting in 1876, once in 1880 and once in 1882. Once I feel the settings are right I start again but this time taking control of a team, etc, the game freezes before I finish a season. UGH!
Why is this so difficult? Because of the whole contraction thing? |

With 19th century leagues its a really good idea to make a backup prior to each season.
You cant play 19th century like you can modern leagues. You really got to pay closer attention to it. Are you getting any messages? I am guessing it could be a not enough players on a team roster do to injuries. Especially expansion teams could be short handed. Check your injury settings. If your able to sim a few seasons i think its more with the actual 19th century data than the game or your computer. Btw Welcome to the wonderful and frustrating at times world of 19th century play. |

Yes, that's what I thought cause sometimes it was happening in the middle of the season. This last time was happening right before the "Off-season". I checked all teams, etc. I'm sure it has to do with contraction or expansion or something. So, frustrating cause I love 19th ball!

Make sure your injury setting is low till you have enough players. Has it just crashed or has it given you the not enough players on a team message?
