question for Newb!!

Hey guys new to this game, and loving everything about it, only question I have is I wanted to play with the new revamped Jays team after the Marlins and Mets Trades, i downloaded all the 2012 updates the latest one I used got rid of thames and snider but no new players.

Can I move players around myself, is there an update for this?

I do not believe there is an update available yet that includes the most recent postseason trades (though I could be wrong). However, you can very easily move players around. Just go into Commish Mode (Manager Options -> Commissioner Mode) and then go to each player's "Edit" tab in their profile. You should be able to change their team from there (left-hand column, Select New Team).

You can also "Act as" one of the teams, set the trade up and use the "Force Trade" option.

Wow, can't believe that option slipped my mind. Yeah, that'd be much easier.
