NHL Conference Realignment?
Are there plans on aligning the conferences per the NHL for next season (2013-14)? Detroit and Columbus to the East and Winnipeg to the West and removing the 6 divisions and replacing them with 4 divisions?

Sure. The NCAA is also getting a major realignment, and there'll be the usual changes in the minor leagues and Europe. We'll switch over to a 2013-14 start date and league setups in early July.

IIRC, EHM 2007 coded in the Devils' move from the Meadowlands to Newark. Will FHM be doing the same thing with the Islanders?

How about turning on moving Teams around them we can do it our selfs and also add Minor League Contract with NHL Team so in the Game when like lets Orlando Solar Bears Contract is up with like say with Panthers and they don't want to renew it they have to find a new home for that Team or lets say teh Panthers want to add Macon as a Minor League Team it could.
Also turn League Affliated with because we might want to add a League to hook up with NHL.

![]() --- That being said, U.S. college hockey people have been dying for a game whether its EA striped or a hockey manager. Personally I've started to dabble in some math/stat evaluations but that's a separate topic... but not incredibly separate. That being said, I hope you guys are able to handle to some of the details and weirdness. I've valued OOTP's flexibility and adaptability and I know that could be a challenge with league systems where tie-breakers matter and playoff formats go weird... like the NCAAs... never-mind the Pairwise system. I look forward to playing this game and maybe even beta-ing it once the Mac version gets working. |
