Cant't see draft Prospects level of competition
I recently completed my first amateur draft. I had previously spent a lot of time looking over forum posts, so I knew a prospects level of competition was something to keep an eye on. However when checking Prospect profiles there was no indication of competition, just a blank space. I also tried to sort the draft prospects by level of completion, but low and behold they were all blank.
Can anybody help me figure out what I did wrong? Is it a feature that can be turned off or is this possibly a bug? |

Check your filter first, and see if you're using Default or Custom.

My 2nd draft class was recently published. It has provided a potential answer to my question. I noticed that the vast majority of players, particularly those from my feeder leagues have no level of competition displayed, for example here is one prospect,
as you can see no level of competition is listed. However, for a few players, apparently fictional prospects from real world colleges like Texas, Stanford or Iowa, they do list level of competition. So i guess my question becomes "Is the level of competition indication only for prospects that don't go though feeder leagues?" I suppose with feeder leagues all teams in a league face similar schedules so perhaps the only real difference is between high school and college. Last edited by Gneilos; 08-03-2013 at 05:01 AM. |

I believe you are correct. The competition level for non-feeder players is so that you can mentally adjust their stats accordingly, since a player from Texas will face tougher competition than a guy from Grand Valley State.
Feeder league players all play against each other, so their competition level is basically "normal". |

Thanks for answering my question, since drafting and player development are my favorite parts of this type of game I just wanted to have all the tools possible to help and enrich my experience.
By the way, i think the prospect i posted went 1st overall to the White Sox. |
