Is there a way to manually edit the draft pool?

If I want to start a game and do an inaugural draft, but I want to include various players from throughout history but have control over who gets into the draft pool, is that possible?

I know that it is possible to start a historical league and have a pool of random players from all eras, but is it possible to edit that pool?

After you create a league, you'll need to delete all of the players. From there you can go to the Draft Pool and start importing historical players. Depending on the size of the league, that can be very time consuming. It's easier to import whole teams from history into your league.

Ok, thanks. That definitely sounds like a bit much. Oh well, I will just have to either pull in whole teams or just use the random players that make it in.

Speaking from experience, it's fun to import historical teams from different eras and dumping the players into the draft pool. That's how I get Justin Verlander facing Shoeless Joe Jackson, or Sandy Koufax facing Albert Pujols.

Keep in mind, there's only so many HOFers and All Stars to go around. Teams need to be filled out with bench players, so I recommend importing whole teams.

I just want to point out that it is possible to edit the Draft Pool just before an Inaugural Draft, in case this helps. You can delete individuals or groups of players and you can edit them as well here:
