Question for logo makers
I am in the process of putting a simple logo set together which will include the primary mark of every MLB & MilB team for 2014. How do I attach the team colors to the file names? You don't have to actually do this manually do you? (I hope) Thanks for your help.

A lot of copy and paste.
I use Xara, so I can build my filename within Xara by copying hex codes from the color editor to a text box then copy the whole filename from the text box then "save as" which makes it a lot easier, but with other software it's not as easy. I don't know what software you are using, but maybe you could do something like this by putting a text line in another layer. |

I am afraid I'm not that advanced with graphic software...I am using GIMP.

This gives me a feature idea...if possible...when you set colors for teams within the game, the color codes automatically save within the file name of the logos.

Yes, where it says "HTML notation" is your hex code that you would copy and paste into the logo filename.

Great idea, but I wouldn't want it to be automatic. Maybe a button to click.
