Reloading files

I started a game and played a few seasons. However, since then, I've made some changes to the nick_names, names, and first_names files.

Will the game automatically pick up those changes or do I need to do something to make it "reload" those files? Or am I hosed?

Thanks.

If you made the changes in the acutual .txt files...no current players will change, but any new player will.
Only way to change existing players names is to do it through the player editor or export the rosters, load them in a spreadsheet, change the names, save it and reimport the rosters.
Create a new game and it will use your edited .txt files names.

Yeah I sort of figured this. The reason I asked was that I noticed a player, created years after league inception, had a goofy nickname that I could have sworn I deleted from the nicknames file.

I checked and sure enough, it wasn't there. So I thought maybe the game loaded the initial nicknames file and was using that!

I'll pay closer attention and see if I can find more examples. Thanks!

Can't you just import the names file in the league setup?

Instead of exporting?

Hmm, how would I do that?
