Crazy waiver claim activity in 1900 reply

I really don't mean to criticize OOTP, but there has been some crazy waiver activity during the preseason of a 1900 reply I just started. A player named Michael Latham has been claimed around 25 times so far and it's at the end of February. On approximately 5 occasions he has been claimed by 3 different teams on the same day. I don't know what to make of this.

this replay is all jacked up. I'm managing the Cleveland Blues. In the first two games, Milwaukee's pitchers were also playing in the field at the same time. What gives?
