Thinking about getting the game, have a couple of questions

Hello all

I used diamond mind baseball a few years back. I was thinking of picking this up. Aside from current seasons I was wondering if you could just import historical players on to current teams? I was wanting to run a best of history league from each team.

Is this possible, how do I set it up? That's my main interest in buying the game. Thanks

Yes, that is possible.

I believe there's even a roster set someone put together of all time greats.

However you can import historical teams, or individual players. You could have the 27 Yankees play the 75 Reds if you wanted to. There are many, many ways to play OOTP.

Yes you can...

Try a search of the forums on Importing Historical Players and you will find several posts on that subject that will tell you how to do it... It is not difficult at all...

When you play OOTP you will wonder why you played other PC baseball games, and oh, OOTP will be the last baseball game/series you'll ever play on the PC.

Funny, I said baseball games before but I edited it to PC games because I was concerned about backlash to The Show fans :-)

I got ootp14, its a lots of fun once you get a handle on it. adjust to the learning curve, be patient and remember its not supposed to be easy.

Im a football manager junkie and OOTP has given it a serious run for my gaming time and I dont regret it at all.

There's not much talk about The Show around here. Not sure if that means there are few fans of The Show on these boards, or if those who are (like myself) all fully understand that the two games really aren't even comparable.
