Been working on a custom league for some time now, based off of the WHA in hockey. Basically a new league that tries to compete with the MLB. I'll upload more of the jersey's when I finish them, but until then...I have a question. Is there any way to have the expansion draft pull from free agency rather than having a bunch of fake players?

Yes, you can schedule a "free agency draft" independent of your expansion draft. That said, creating a new league is going to create a bunch of new fictional players you'll have to delete.

When I create a new "rebel league", I take a different method. I merge all of the existing independent leagues into one of them, then delete all the teams (sending those players into the FA pool), create new teams with my desired cities/names, adjust the league settings to suit my purposes (and delete the league's history), and then do a free agency draft.

Gotta love the Whalers since I live in CT also. The Coyotes lettering may be too dark to see in game. Maybe red letters with a white outline would be better.

Reworked the league because I wasn't totally satisfied with the teams I chose, or the look of the teams. I'll finish up the jerseys and post the finished products a little later.

Here's the Metro division:

The Buffalo Wings: based off a team my friend made in an old Wii game years ago. His team was Buffalo, mine was Hartford. Obviously.

The Grady Dodgers: Based off of the Brooklyn Dodgers in homage of Jackie Robinson and based in his home county. Nothing special, but I really liked the idea for some reason.

The Hampton Roads Rhinos: Based off of the hockey team that never was. They were who The Whalers were initially supposed to become in 1997. I loved their cheesy 90's logos, so I stole, edited, and repurposed them hahaha

The Hartford Whalers: My favorite NHL team. I always find a way to include them in just about every game I play. What can I say? I'm a dreamer.

The Havana Tropics: I wanted to put teams in places besides just the US and Canada that were still feasible. I mean, it's the WORLD Baseball Association

And last but most definitely not least, The Montreal Expos: If you haven't noticed, I have a real soft spot for nostalgia and defunct teams.
