A Couple of Quick Questions

I have a couple of questions regarding the new version:

1. I have been creating a new fictional league in 15 and I am dying to play it, but with version 16 coming out next weekend I was wondering if I should hold off to transfer to 16 at the beginning of the season or is it okay to transfer mid season?

2. If I can transfer mid season, do any manually created news articles transfer over to the new version? It is my way of dynasty writing. :-)

3. With the new manager mode (which I am excited about), I was wondering if any more work was put into starting as a manager starting out in minor leagues and working your way to the big leagues? I have tried in past versions, but the AI GM really made a lot of strange roster changes making it tough to enjoy. It might be fun to revisit if there has been improvements there.

1, Markus recommends converting the 1st day of the offseason but i have converted many leagues at various points and had no OOTP related issues,

2. Everything will be in 16 from your saved league.

3. Although i can not say for certain since i am not a Beta tester, I see no reason why this would change. The Ai making moves is part of the game.

We always try to improve the AI roster AI, but I'm sure they'll always make stupid moves.

As for converting, the "best" time is the first day of the off-season (the day after the World Series), since then the whole off-season gets under the "new" code. If not that, then anytime in the off-season would be fine. It's generally not recommended to update during the season, just because it's more likely that stats will end up incomplete or screwed up during the conversion, but it should "work" anytime you want to do it.

I appreciate the advice. Right now my fictional league is getting ready to kick off the season, so should I restart the league or is starting day one going to be okay?
