Need Help from an OOTP Vet Please!

Hi Guys and thanks in advance!

I've actually played OOTP for the past 15 years, but I need help figuring out how to set something up. Here is the situation:

I like to play the game with a buddy (two different households). After we both purchase the game, we want to set up a historical league in which we control two different teams. Ideally, I would play (using the in-game engine where you get to coach your team) about 10 games while his games are getting simulated and then somehow send him the league file so he could play his next 10 games while my games were being simulated. Here's the problem:

In the past, we've taken the league file inside of the game's folder in our C drives and sent it to a zip file. We were able to email the league back and forth until, inevitably, the file got too big and we had to stop playing.

Is there a way that we could run our league in the way I described without having to attempt to email large zip files that would end up getting too big to send?

Thank you!

Send only the dat files and make sure you both have the same files/folders elsewhere.

You could also find a solution other than email to exchange the files. Something like dropbox.

You could run a mini online league. Ping FMontoya. He offers cost effective turn key online hosting.
