Which manager mode do you prefer?

Managing only, GM and manager or GM only? I must confess that the very first day I got the game (last Friday) that I played the first game in GM and manager mode. We lost the game. LOL After that I decided to play GM only and let Joe Maddon manage the Cubs because...well, why not? He's a MUCH better manager than I am!

There's a part of me that is tempted to go back to managing AND GM'ing, but having a guy like Maddon in the dugout makes it a lot easier of a decision, you know? Now, if I had Mike Quade or Dale Sveum as manager, that would be a different story.

How about you? Which manager mode do you prefer?

I manage and GM. I enjoy building my team in the offseason, and I also enjoy making the decisions during the games. I'll try out the other modes eventually, but for now, I want to control everything my team does.

That's precisely why I would prefer to be GM in this game.

By the same token, this is also why I would rather Joe Maddon manage the Cubs than me because most people would probably be second guessing my decisions over Joe's. Joe could make a move that turned out to be a mistake, but was really a good move. Whereas I could make a move that I thought was a good move turn out to be a mistake.

I'm looking forward to GM only. I've always wanted to be able to construct the team and then hire the perfect manager to lead it to glory. Now I can!

I'm going to manage only. I started unemployed and was hired by the Oklahoma City Dodgers. Only AAA team that offered me a job. I'm playing with cannot be fired unchecked for first time. I also will continue as GM and manager of my expansion Las Vegas team. A 2014 MLB game I imported from my 2015 game.

I'm GMing. Imported a fictional league of mine from 15. 4 years and 4 playoff appearances but hopefully some OOTP16 magic will make year 5 the year.

I think you can assign that duty to your bench coach.
