This Trade Offer Has Expired!
...on the same day it's offered? I know this issue has been in previous versions of the game, just wondering what the reasoning is behind it....

The other GM changed his mind or made another trade which maybe included a player he needed or one in the aborted offer.
Edit: I think it realistic even if it is annoying..

The AI may have had multiple deals at the same time and traded or had to DL a part of your offer. That is the way I always saw it.

It happens specifically because the offering GM moved (traded usually) one of the players in the offer on the same day the offer was made. I guess the game first decides what trade offers you'll receive, then decides what AI-AI trades get made, so sometimes the offers you get need to be canceled.
Probably not a big deal for anyone, but because it's confusing it's probably something that should be fixed at some point. |
