Uniform number issue

I just downloaded the latest update and now I can't updte player's uniform numbers. I just called up Addison Russell to the Cubs and I am unable to change his number to 22. No other player on my 40 man roster has number 22 either. I also tried to update some other players numbers and it's not working. Any help on this??

Any chance you could make some screenshots. i was able to change a few players. Did you hit Enter?

I noticed that Dexter Fowler is listed as wearing #21 when he actually wears #24 and Phil Coke (now ex-Cub) was wearing #27, but in OOTP he has #40.
