Influence how manager uses players

Is there any way as GM to influence how your manager uses players? For example, if you want to see how a player performs as a starting pitcher, and you want one of the pitchers currently being used in the rotation to move to the bullpen.

Team Menu -> Strategy -> Player Strategy

Drag and drop a player into the space at the bottom of the screen and you can "Force Start" him wherever you want.
