Import historical players

I cannot imprt historical players. I tried to import Babe Ruth, from the database files.tar, ruthba01, from the 1921 season. I get a "The historical player import failed" message. What am I doing wrong?

I think your problem is trying to use the tar file. You'll want to select the historical_database.odb from a path like this (on windows): C:\Users\User\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 16\stats

Thanks. I moved stats to the main file and it worked!
