From my OOTP 14 fictional league...

Trevor Surtees almost matches Kirby Puckett's feat from my historical league:

He only went 5-for-6 in the first game, though. Almost! Still only the second time I've seen two five-hit games in a row in all my OOTP seasons.

On an unrelated note: I really hope he got that nickname because of his love of the Gnu Image Manipulation Program, and not for Pulp Fiction-y reasons.

Impressive, never seen that either. Kirby didn't get 5 hits back to back either. Went 4 for 5 and then 6 for 6 IIRC

Just noticed you said in your historical league...I was, of course, referring to Kirby's games in the real world against the Brewers in '87
