What's the current version?

I'm running build 39 but one of my other owners is running build 42. I can't find an update for build 42, though. What's the story?

39 is the current version for PC. In The General Discussion forum, there is a release for 42, with this notation:

" a maintenance update for OOTP 16, version number 16.10.42. It fixes the Mac crash when quitting the application and has some minor internal changes implemented, for example the display of the company news dialog has been improved. PC users don't have to upgrade to this version, the changes are not relevant to the game / simulation."

so if you are using a PC, there is no need to download that upgrade.
