Issues importing OOTP15

I have been trying to import my OOTP15 career into 16. Everytime I do it I get so far then I get a white screen (as if game locks up).

Anyone else get this or have other issues.

Any suggestions for a fix.

How long are you giving it? I have had some leagues take 45 mins

I've left it to import overnight... same results.

My import career is 10+seasons. But never had issues with other versions.

Just a suggestion -- Make sure your computer doesn't go into sleep mode. My older iMac (7-8 years old) will go into sleep mode even if OOTP is running, and that stops whatever the game is doing.

Thanks, but the computer does not sleep. Importing file is quite large, but seems like the system hangs.

I did it twice more and got a little each time... but here are the errors I get now:

Page_link: get_from_data-device - invalid length of message
App-framework: load_recent_page-links - unable to read page link from file

After I click OK OOTP crashes.

mine takes 3 hours to import for I want all the history for each given player NOT cleared.

Yes took me a long time.

Fixed sort. I had an issue with my OOTP15 file and fixed it in OOTP15.

I was able to import into OOTP16, but now my issue is when I go to play a game the game crashes.

Anyone getting a lot of crashes with an imported OOTP15 career. I can not go 3 or 4 clicks without it crashing to desktop.

You might want to file a support ticket. I haven't heard of this problem happening a lot, so I'm not sure if anyone here will have an answer.
