Couple of rainout questions

First, I've been playing a while and have seen where a game gets rained out before it even starts and a game gets rained out when it is official. But I haven't seen a rainout happen in the first 4 (or 4.5 if the home team is losing) innings, meaning pitchers have been fatigued, etc. but the game doesn't count. Just wondering, it this rainout option not in the game?

Second, I've seen where all games get made up no matter what because it would mess up the financial engine. So if I'm playing a season and I see a game get rained out in a situation where it wouldn't be made up in real life, would something catastrophic happen if I manually delete the game from the schedule so it's not made up? This happens in real life where teams lose income due to cancelled games. Just wondering if this would be too dramatic in OOTP world. Thanks.

I have had games suspended due to rain and finished on a subsequent day.

I THINK I had this happen recently. The game vanished off the schedule and the SP had a link in his game log to a game we lost, 1-1

When I clicked on it, it was two others teams

The pitcher was fatigued, but so were a bunch of other guys . . a lot of guys had 10 pitches yesterday and were gassed. I assume something got glitchy. My rotation was fouled up that whole time through and I wound up tied for the division at the end of the year (and, of course) lost game #163. I blame that rainout
