Feeders have a reserve roster?
Why? Why? Why?
Two images. One on what is essentially the last day of a cycle (Jan. 25) and the next when Pre-season begins for feeders (Jan. 26), which seems to be the day that feeder teams are re-stocked. Seven perfectly able-bodied boys, and of an age that they are still in college, seen on the first roster, are not there on Jan. 26. I can find them via a search and they are still at the same team, but on reserve roster (that I don't seem to be able to see). On their transaction menu, I can send them to the active roster. Similarly, I can place any active feeder player on the reserve roster. I guess this explains why there are always more players then my math would seem to suggest there should be at a given level (and in the draft). I don't get why this happens.

They have to have a reserve roster because otherwise, when enough players were injured, the game would stop dead and give you an illegal roster issue.

That makes some sense. I understand people play with all sorts of settings for feeders, but for me 40-50 games, 25-man rosters . . I can't see any team every getting below nine healthy players.
I just had a guy get drafted in the seventh round of the MLB draft who was evidently on a reserve roster his entire feeder career as he has no stats. If I want to play stats only, I have zero chance of ever drafting a guy like that, who by at least one team's opinion, is a semi-decent prospect. It kind of kills the whole idea for me.

This is happening to me during Spring Training and it continues to halt the universe.
The Toyama Thunderbirds in the Baseball Challenge League keep moving players to the Reserve roster. I have to go into Commissioner Mode and manually drag the players back to the Active Roster. This isn't a Fictional League. It's getting annoying.

- I don't use Commissioner Mode. It's the first time it's happened through multiple seasons. Perhaps it's an aberration. It was causing this: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...rs-roster.html
