Anyone seen this before?

I'm having a rather odd problem in a setup right now. I got a notification that a computer run team (in another completely separate league that is in spring training) has an illegal number of players. When I look, they have 8 players on the active roster (out of a possible 40) and 53 on their reserve roster. Okay. They have a full personnel list, including a GM. So I went over and clicked the commish box and moved a bunch of players from their reserve roster to their active roster. Click sim, same message the next day. They're back to 8 players active. Rinse and repeat, every day, one day at a time.

What in the hell can cause that, and how can I make it stop?

Okay, I spoke a bit too soon, perhaps. I kept going with the one day at a time thing while I awaited a reply, and after about 10 days, it just... stopped happening. I'd still like to know if there's a reason and/or a solution for it though, for future reference. That was a pain.

Maybe the players were all from a different country and the team had met it's limit.

I suppose it's possible (I can't now find the team... apparently my news-addled brain was misreading it, since there doesn't seem to be a Fukushima team), but I do find it really difficult to believe as a possibility. Surely with 61 total players, they couldn't have had [i]that[/] many foreigners.
