Random Injuries

I have seen a lot of random injuries since I started playing this one but I almost feel bad for him. I assume someone was upset he hasn't lived up to his potential in the Majors. What are some of the most random reasons for injuries you have seen in the game? One of the funniest I have seen was Trevor Hoffman got injured in the shower when another player snuck up and scared him causing him to slip and fall and hit his head.

My favorite random injury was when Chase Headley missed 4 weeks because he injured himself sliding on the tarp during a rain delay.

On the bright side with that one, I had to move Stephen Drew to 3rd because I didnt have anyone healthy who could play 3rd and brought up refysnder to play 2nd, who took the starting job from Drew by hitting .330 during that month an is now hitting .300, including a ridiculous .410 against lefties

Google Jerry Blevins. Just last week he fell off a curb and re-fractured his left forearm. Out for the season.

Must have been a bunch of Expos fans pissed off about that career batting average.

I just had a new draft signee get hurt on the day he signed. Literally. I was so confused about why I couldn't find him on the pitching screen until I thought to check the DL.

Not nearly the most bizarre injury to happen to John Tudor.

so do I. At least we're getting Bird and Severino though - that's a start.

Uh, my utility infielder just got injured with a concussion and is out for 10 months while taping a late night TV show... despite having "high" intelligence

This wasn't a random injury per se, but it was an injury with pretty funny timing. Signing a contract that big must've put a lot of strain on his fingers.
