Pitcher Heavy League

So I imported this game I started, in OOTP14, to OOTP16. I love the game, but I can't get over the fact that it's such a pitcher heavy league. Typically when I play OOTP, I use 1-100 scale and for me a very good pitcher is at least 60-60-60. Well in this specific save, a 60-60-60 pitcher is more like a #4/#5 starter at best. I have attached two screen shots. The first one shows some of the starting pitchers in the league and the second one shows some pitchers that are rated lower overall, but still have very solid ratings.

Has anyone seen a league of theirs have this much good pitching?

Would it help if I move to a 1-20 scale?

I find my leagues go through stretches of both hitter heavy and pitcher heavy eras. If your unhappy you can also recalc the modifiers for the era you want to represent. I do that if starts to deviate a little too far one direction or another. Probably once every 10 years or so. I like a little variation.

Personally, I use the 1-10 scale just because I find it gives me the perfect balance between knowing the talent and fog of war so to speak.

Infractions: 0/1 (3)
another edit: you said 14 to 16... just in case... you converted to 14 to 15 to 16, and not 14 directly to 16? if not, you can probably skip reading below. go back through that process and make sure to convert to each version until you get to the newest. (it wasn't specifically said. i am not assuming anything, but this would be the simplest cause and easy to recognize, so i have to mention it).

i am familiar with the scales you are using, so there is no translation issue in my opinions:

for the sake of this thread, the larger the scale you use, the better the information. Also, while investigating, turn scouting to 100% accuracy. this is so clearly jacked, that even if you didn't have it on already, scouting accuracy is not the culprit.

yeah somethign looks wrong. is this a fresh transfer? try re-runnign OSA and Human Re-scout function from the main league settings page.

make ratings relative to all, and not to the position? it's not normal for so much blue and green coded inidividual ratings for sure. make sure it's not just soem asthetic thing due to settings.

Edit:

question 2: how did you import?

if you imported players, their player id's will be all messed up. you must edit teh exported file and copy over created player id's from your newer league. year of birth may need edits too. if you did not do the typical league transfer (i've never done it) and tried to make use of the player import feature, you will have all sorts of corrupted data. (there's a way to do a player import, search my thread history for an outline, it's somewhat complicated and too long to re-trype, but i am pretty sure they have an in-game function for importing older versions that is likely the better way to go)

player creation modifiers are default?

default draft rounds, international discoveries created per year, and international FA created per year ? nothing scaled up relative to talent is the point.

wothwhile to look. sometimes i've pressed a key on accident and changed a value i didn't even realize had changed.

--I imported from OOTP14 to OOTP15 and then from OOTP15 to OOTP16.
--I have scouting accuracy at "normal"
--i haven't imported any players, just the game itself from OOTP14 to 15 and then from 15 to 16
--Player creation modifiers are set to default 1.000, even league total modifiers are all at 1.000.
--I have draft set to 40 rounds. I am using feeder leagues, but I don't think that has anything to do with it.
