Irrevocable waivers

What does this mean? If I put a guy on waivers and he's claimed, does that mean I can't pull him back? I have some guys I'd like to put on waivers because I thought it would be a good way to see if any other team would be interested. I never have luck with the trading block and shop around features.

Yes that is what it means. If you put him up that way, you cannot pull him back

If u put him on waivers and someone claims him u can trade him to that team before the waiver period is over
