Suspending a league or team!

1. I would like the ability to suspend a whole league for a season or more and then bring it back. I want to have no games played during the world wars and have spent many hours trying many different ways to do this and nothing has worked.

2. I would like to deactivate a team for a period of years and then bring them back with all of their previous history still there.

If there is a way to do either of these please let me know!

Thanks in advance.

1. yes 2. not easily if at all.

1. zero out the amount of games. check the box on each teams edit settings page not make any moves. Hmm forgot what else needs to be done. i am doing this with my CBF league after the 2027 season for 6 years. I have a few seasons and will do it on OOTP 17 or 18.

So, if zeroing out the games work - couldn't you just set up another league with a zero game schedule and edit the structure to move the suspended team (or teams) to that league for a season (or many), and then move them back in later seasons? I was contemplating this myself as a workaround for demoted teams in a promotion/demotion world; but, I haven't tried it yet.

Sounds like it should work. Make a backup and try it.
