2 players on same machine?

I would love to play this game with my son on the same pc. Why hasn't this been done yet? I love this game but it seems like it would be more fun if u could play someone else besides the computer.

You can, just create another human manager, a friend of mine and I have been playing like that since OOTP '12 or '13.

It's kinda a slow, painful process (especially in the off-season) but we've played thru close to a decade since March.
