All Star selection, player was sent to minors?

Anyone ever see a player get selected to the All Star game, but before the game he was sent down to AAA?

The AI ran Cardinals in my league have a catcher who was voted into the 2020 AS game and is having a decent year, but they just sent him down to AAA two days before the AS game.

I'm wondering what will happen.. will be allowed to play?

(he did play.. haha.. after the game they were like, back to the minors all star)

Never seen it in this game but it just happened in the NHL. He was traded and sent down but already voted on the other leagues all star team. I believe they are going to let him play for his original team.

OOTP allows him to play.
