importing season schedule

I've just begun playing a historical league in OOTP. I'm starting with 1962, and can't figure out how to have the game play the real season for all 20 teams. For Example, the Dodgers in 1962 opened the season against Cincinnati on April 9th, but when I try to play out the season, it's having Opening Day be April 1st against Philadelphia. I have the historical transactions & lineups checked, so I don't know why it's putting a lineup for a regular season game, that didn't happen. Any help would be much appreciated.

Use the ap schedule "as played" instead of the as scheduled.

Thanks. I couldn't get it to work completely. It still schedules a regular season 1 game series between DET/WSH, and PHI/CIN on April 9th, before (what appears) is the correct schedule starting on April 10th (1 day late).

Oh, my bad. Guess there was 2 games played on 4/9/62. Just threw me off that Philadelphia/Cincinnati played a 1 game series the day before Cincinnati opened a series against the Dodgers in LA the following day.
