Hall of Fame Eligibility Question

So I've noticed when I look at future years for eligible players, some years have no players, or players are missing when they clearly meet all the requirements of service time, etc. Should I be worried that the game will miss them when it comes time to voting or does OOTP only list the players most likely to be voted in? Anyone have any experience with this? I'd hate to have to keep track of who retires so no one falls in the cracks.

One way to ensure you don't miss them is to go to the "Retired & Active Players" tab on the "Players" tab in the History Index, as illustrated below. I organize it by JAWS because JAWS and WAR factor heavily into my HoF decisions.

...Also if you find any that slip through the cracks, you can go into commish mode, and manually induct them by going to the player's page and clicking on the "Available Actions" box in the top right corner of their page.

Yeah, which I am in commish mode and will certainly do that. It sounds like this is a bug huh? Maybe OOTP 17 will have this rectified. Thanks.

I would say it's only really a bug if they belong in the HoF, but to each his own.

I mean it's a bug as far as numerous players should be eligible for the hall of fame and they aren't showing up on the list. Even ones with good numbers and a high HOF Monitor number.

Ok. If you've seen it you should report it. I'm 33 years into mine now, and I haven't seen it yet, but if you're seeing it, it should probably be reported.

Come to think of it the same thing is happening in my fictional league.
