Norm Cash at SS!!!!

I'm playing a historical exhibition with the 1968 Detroit Tigers. The default lineup had Norm Cash at SS. He's only rated defensively at 1b and never played a game at SS in MLB in his whole career.

If this happened once, I have no doubt it's happened with other players but I may be wrong and this might just be a Norm Cash Historical Exhibition 1968 one-shot error.

You might want to check players going to the wrong position in the default lineups.

Last night I had Lee Thomas of the 1961 Yankees be slotted into 1b for the Yanks. That was kind of funny since he only batted twice for the Yanks that season (both as a pinch hitter) and never played a position with them. This was also Historical Exhibition. I think Bill Skowron would have been the correct choice.

Something for you lads to look at. I love the idea of Historical Exhibition but make the lineups a little closer to reality please.

Oops, there is more. I just noticed the Yankees (1961 computer controlled) have Lee Thomas in the OF and Billy Gardner at 2b. Mr. Gardner did play 3 games in 1961 for the Yankees at 2b but I'd go with Bobby Richardson.

I think I'd call this a bug.

There are errors in the historical DB. Will be fixed in the next update
